Haughton Green Dog Training Club has been helping local dog owners with dog training in Haughton Green and the surrounding areas since 1979. Founded by Chris Freer and a small group of friends, the club was created to offer practical, affordable dog training classes when most options focused on show training rather than everyday life.
Training for Real Life
We are a non-profit, community-run dog training club offering classes for both puppies and adult dogs. Our aim is to provide owners with the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to raise well-behaved, happy, and balanced dogs. Our classes cover puppy training, basic obedience, and learning continuing for life, helping dogs of all ages develop good manners, confidence, and strong communication skills. We focus on positive, reward-based dog training that fits into real life, delivered in a friendly and supportive environment.
A Club That Cares
All of our dog trainers and staff are volunteers who give their time each week because they genuinely care about the dogs and their owners. This allows us to provide lowest-cost dog training possible while maintaining high standards and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
